Even if you’re partner is ready to walk out the door there are still ways to save a marriage, believe it or not. As one half of the marriage you have 50% of the power and influence, so regardless of how bad things get, it’s still possible to turn things around.

Wanting to save your marriage at all costs and making the effort to get things back on track is a positive start that will put you in good stead to save your marriage. However without the right help and guidance you may find yourself in difficult situations which you are unsure on how to remedy.

Arranging to see a marriage counselor with your spouse can certainly help your relationship, however the marriage counselor has little influence over your relationship, so it’s best not to assume that they will be able to perform a miracle ritual to bring your marriage back together.

What’s more, your spouse has to actually agree to see a counselor. In some cases a spouse may refuse to go. But even in these cases there are still ways to save a marriage, because a marriage counselor isn’t always the answer.
